I think most of us are familiar with the ill effects that excess water buildup in your cars gasoline or gas tank can have. Your car may run slower, jumpier or sometimes not even start at all. By using a concoction called dry gas semi-regularly when you fill up, you can prevent these effects from happening or stop them from happening if they have already started.

Step 1

Go to a gas station, with somewhere between a quarter and half tank of gas left in your car.

Step 2

Open the gas cap and pour in the whole bottle of HEET anti-freeze and water remover.

Step 3

Fill up the rest of your tank with your regular gas as you normally would.

Close gas cap as you normally would. Start your car and let it run for about a minute so the HEET has a chance to run through your gas line. Your car should be running smoother already!

Warning

  • Be very careful when handling HEET. Make sure not to spill.

Items you will need

  • Iso-HEET® Fuel-line Antifreeze & Water Remover
  • Room to put at least half a tank of gas in your car
