Various warning lights can illuminate on the instrument panel of your 2003 Chevy TrailBlazer to let you know when the vehicle needs to be serviced or repaired. The instrument panel may display lights such as "ABS" for the Anti-lock Brake System, "Check Engine", "Service Engine" and "SRS" (Supplement Restraint System). After the codes have been read and service and/or repairs completed, you can easily reset the warning lights yourself.

Step 1

Put the key into the ignition and turn it to the "II" position. Make sure the engine doesnt turn over.

Step 2

Pop open the hood of the vehicle and locate the fuse panel cover. This is on the underside of the drivers-side dashboard. Open it by pulling down on it from the top with your fingers. Look on the fuse panel cover for a diagram showing the fuse locations. Find the fuses corresponding to the above mentioned warning lights and pull them out with the fuse puller, which can be found inside the fuse panel.

Wait about ten minutes, and then turn off the vehicle. Put the fuses back in the panel and put the fuse panel cover back in place.
