Keyless-entry remotes and systems are common features on vehicles of all different makes and models. These systems are controlled by wireless remotes, and the handheld remotes can be added to your keychain. The key fobs provide a tracking feature allowing you to find your car by sounding the cars panic alarm. Program this feature to your remote in minutes.
Step 1
Sit in your cars drivers seat with your keyless remote and ignition key. Insert the key into the vehicles ignition.
Step 2
Turn the ignition key to the "Run" position -- and then back to the "Off" position -- eight times within 10 seconds.
Step 3
End the eighth turn of the key in the "Run" position. Wait for the locks to automatically click after the last turn.
Step 4
Press and hold the "Lock" or "Unlock" button on your remote within 20 seconds. Hold the button for 20 seconds.
Release the button once the door locks click again. The signifies completion of the programming.
