Contenu

The Suzuki SX4 is equipped with a tire-pressure monitoring system that informs the driver when one of the tires is underinflated by illuminating a warning light on the control panel. The monitoring system resets itself as you drive when the tires are inflated to the proper pressure. Correcting underinflated tires or repairing or replacing flat tires is the only way to get the system to reset.

Step 1

Park the SX4 on a level surface with access to compressed air.

Step 2

Remove the valve cap on each tire. Press the end of the tire pressure gauge into the valve stem to get a reading.

Step 3

Insert the end of the compressed air nozzle into the valve stem of each tire that is below 33 psi. Allow the air to enter the tire for a few seconds at a time. Check the pressure again after each burst of air. Stop when the reading is 33 psi.

Step 4

Replace the valve caps on each tire.

Start the engine. Drive the car for a few minutes to allow the sensors to monitor the tire pressure. The warning resets as the system detects that all tires are properly inflated.
