Contenu
The Jeep Wrangler was built for rugged outdoor adventures, which can often merit removal of seats. It can also be beneficial to remove the rear seat for hauling large objects. Standard Jeep Wranglers are equipped with two bucket seats in the front and a rear bench seat. The seats can be quickly and easily removed by removing a few bolts while leaving the seat belt assemblies in place.
Step 1
Locate the front bucket seats tilt-type frame and the mounting brackets.
Step 2
Remove the retaining bolts locking the front bucket seat brackets into the floorboard using an appropriately sized socket wrench.
Step 3
Lift the bucket seats up and remove from the vehicle.
Step 4
Locate the four seat support brackets for the rear bench seat.
Step 5
Remove the four screws that attach the rear bench seat to the brackets using a socket wrench. It is not necessary to remove the seat support brackets from the floorboard.
Lift the rear bench seat away from the brackets and remove from the vehicle.
