Contenu
Michelin-brand wiper blades are manufactured by the Pylon company, who also makes TrueFit- and Pylon-brand wiper blades. Michelin blades are widely available at affordable prices; youll find them at discount retailers like Wal-Mart as well as at repair shops and parts stores wholly devoted to cars. Like the blades of competitors Rain-X and Trico, Michelin-brand blades are easy to install. You definitely do not need a mechanic to do it for you.
Step 1
Turn on your vehicles electrical system and activate your wipers for three seconds. Then turn the wipers off. The wipers should stop in the middle of your windshield, thereby making them easy to access.
Step 2
Lift the driver-side wiper and locate the safety clasp.
Step 3
Undo the clasps connection with the wiper arm. This will unsecure the wiper.
Step 4
Remove the old wiper unit by pulling it off the arm. If your vehicle features a wiper with a small pin, see the Tips section below.
Step 5
Align the new Michelin wiper blades center connection with the end of the wiper arm. Firmly, pull it on. If your wiper arm features a hook, you will pull it into the hook until you hear the safety clasp "click."
Rest the newly installed Michelin blade against the windshield and repeat the installation process on the navigators side of the vehicle.
