Contenu
The Chrysler Pacifica was a mid-sized crossover utility vehicle (CUV) that was produced from 2004 through 2008. The Pacifica gives the appearance of being a cross between a minivan, an SUV and a four-door sedan. Its fairly short production was due to its having fairly limited success and sales. There have been several other crossover SUV vehicles produced that have a similar appearance and performance to the Pacifica.
Dodge Journey
The Dodge Journey was introduced as the Pacifica left the market. It shares a virtually identical body style and wheelbase, and has many of the same statistics and options that were available on the Pacifica. As Dodge and Chrysler are two different brands under the same company, it is fairly safe to say that the Pacifica was more or less removed from the Chrysler brand, modified slightly and re-introduced to the market as the Journey.
Nissan Murano
The Nissan Murano crossover SUV was introduced as one of the first crossover SUVs in the United States in 2003. The Murano was one of the Pacificas primary competitors. The Murano is similar to the Pacifica in many ways. The Murano features a similar body design, and many of the same features offered by the Pacifica. However, the Murano also offered more-powerful engines and drivetrains than the Pacifica.
Lexus RX 330
The Lexus RX 330 was another crossover SUV that was physically similar to the Chrysler Pacifica. It was produced from 2004 through 2006. The Lexus RX 330 offered a lot more luxury features and options than the Pacifica did. However, it too only had limited sales success.
